Day 2: Rabat – Fez:

In the morning we will take the route to Meknés, bordering the incredible Mamora forest. Finally we are already in Meknes, a city that reached its peak thanks to Sultan Mulay Ismail. We will depart with about 27 km from Meknés to visit the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis, where the best preserved archaeological remains are found. Then we will visit the holy city Moulay Idriss. Continue to Fez. Dinner and accommodation in Riyadh.

Day 3: Fez – Fez:

This day we will dedicate to visit the city of Fez. During our walk through the city we will penetrate more into the streets of its medina (the old town), and when we penetrate more and more we will feel that time goes back: the union structure is still present at work, the narrowness of its streets does not allow another means of transport that donkeys and a constant tingling of people move through the labyrinthine lanes in the middle of which we will be surprised by neighborhoods such as the Andalusian and magnificent mosques and Koranic schools. Fez has always been associated with study and religiosity, it is the spiritual capital of Morocco. From the medina we will walk aimlessly through the streets of Fez-Jdid, where are the royal palace, the Mellah (Jewish quarter) and the oldest mosque in Fez. Dinner and accommodation according to selected hotel category.

Day 4: Fez – Ifrane Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga:

Breakfast and departure to Midelt, crossing the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. On the way we will pass several villages such as Ifrane, a charming ski resort is the lost paradise for lovers of scale. Then we will pass through Azrou, an important craft center specialized in cedar wood works. After the Zad pass (2178m / 7146ft), we will arrive at Midelt at lunchtime. In the afternoon, we will descend towards Erfoud and Errachidia through the Ziz Valley, dotted with palm trees. Continue to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the afternoon we will leave the 4 × 4 and take the camels to cross the great desert dunes for about two hours. Night in the heart of the desert in nomadic tents (Haimas) enjoying the stars, the moon, the sunset, the dawn … Dinner and accommodation in Haimas (an unforgettable night).

Day 5: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Draa Valley -Ouarzazate:

In the morning we will return to the hotel in dromedary, have breakfast and take a comforting shower. Then we will visit Khalmia, a town originally from Mali, where we will relax with a Moroccan tea while enjoying a small concert of Gnawa music. Then we will take a tour of the beautiful dunes of the Erg Chebbi in 4 × 4, extension of the desert of sand where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, of more than 250 meters of altitude, connecting by track with part of the route followed by the Old Paris-Dakar and with the mountains that border Algeria in the background. On the way we will make a stop at a panoramic point where we will contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole.

Then we will go to Rissani, the first imperial city, with its interesting market, where nomads from the surrounding area come to sell their livestock and buy the goods they need. There we propose to approve the tasty Berber pizza (it is only cooked there) and we will continue our way to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. Along the way we will make stops to contemplate the lovely adobe kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the route and the interesting geological formations of the Draa Valley. Dinner and night in Ouarzazate.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech:

After breakfast we will visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. The trip is a succession of strong points. Today’s day is another one of them. The 200 km that separates Ouarzazate from Marrakech run through the High Atlas. The road must be traveled slowly, for its beauty and because it is a mountain pass that crosses the Atlas at almost 2,300 m. To round off the spectacularity of the day, we will make the path following the old caravan route that linked the two cities through the Ounila Valley, where there are kasbahs built in caves and that will also take us to Telouet. And we continue towards the red city of Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation according to selected hotel category.

Day 7: Marrakech – Marrakech:

Full day to discover the ruins of the red city Marrakech, city famous for its Jemaa el Fna square, to which we will devote much of our time is an amalgam of unrepeatable aromas, sounds and sensations. The city also has countless places that defend it from the other cities such as: the Majorelle Gardens, the Menara, the Saadian Tombs, walks in the medina or the mellah (the old Jewish quarter), the route of the walls and the modern city (Gueliz) with its western ways of life. Hotel accommodation according to selected hotel category. (Visit of Marrakech)
